The Cost of War, Unnoticed

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/05/07/AR2007050701582.html?nav=rss_politics

Thus far, the money spent on the war outweighs the cost of Vietnam or Korea. Granted we're a much richer country today then back then but it would be hard to argue that the monies spent in Iraq couldn't be better spent elsewhere. We had the oppertunity to take the 300+ billion spent on Iraq and better secure our country. Instead, we invade a country under false premise and as a result have made Americans less safe overall.
